Have Dolls, Will Travel

First off, thank you all for your suggestions - most especially Kate - because you are magical and you didn't have to do all that, and I feel bad, because none of those ladies quite fit (and listen, you know I love Kate Winslet. I LOVE Kate Winslet - but you know how it is when your character just wants a certain face).

So the search continues, but it's narrowed. I'm waiting (kind of) patiently to be added to this one icon maker's flist, because she has tons of icons of several very beautiful French and English actresses whom I haven't seen anywhere else.

This is VERY EXCITING TO ME.

Everything is freaking set. Aphrodite is babbling incessantly in my brain. I have a journal for her - it is customized. I have her userinfo ready. She is ready to make her entrance. I should be studying right now, but instead, I'm going to write her intro post, which I will not be able to post until I get a face for her. I need to post for Lethe, but there's so much Aphrodite in my brain that Lethe is going to be drowned out (HAHAHA) until I get this handled.

Okay, I'm going to write that Aphrodite post. Then tomorrow at some point (most likely when I ought to be studying), I will write the Lethe post.

Sometimes, I have no goddamn mental discipline whatsoever.

Eventually, I'm probably going to update this thing with a list of all the games I'm in, and all the characters I play. But that's ambitious, and I'm tired, and I really ought to be in bed sleeping preparing for my busy ass day tomorrow, and my busy ass weekend, but, well. Yeah.

For now, I'm about to be back in action at deities_dot_com, which is an interesting feeling, especially since I'm going to be playing two characters that I haven't played before (Aphrodite and Lethe).

Right now, I'm on the sick Pb hunt for Aphrodite. Lethe was easy; in fact, pretty much all of the characters I've created since my return to RP in the spring have been fairly easy to choose faces for. But Aphrodite, and my understanding of her as a character, is so singularly difficult, I'm highly frustrated with it.

No one satisfies. If a Pb has one element I'm looking for, it certainly doesn't have any of the others - or even if she has a few things I want, there's always one vital thing missing.

I've been at this for a long time, and I've given up on several occasions, but now, I've submitted her, she's been approved, and I do not have any more time to hunt this week. (I didn't have time tonight - hence the lack of sleep when my ass needs to be up at eight tomorrow.) So I've thrown my hat into the ring at find_a_pb, and am hoping for the best.

Suggestions are welcome. If not, I'm just going to have to use Jessica Alba and have done with it.
